WINPLAN++ online offers a communication platform that – virtually – brings together all parties involved in one project and supports the exchange of plans, documents and data. At all times, this Internet-based variant of the WINPLAN++ classic plan management system provides every single party involved with an overview of all project-related plans and documents, all planning conditions, and all pending tasks.
 

WINPLAN++ online is accessed using any common Internet Browser and access data that are provided by the person responsible for the project in question. The use of WINPLAN++ online does not require neither the transfer nor the installation of any additional software.

WINPLAN++ online presents itself with a neatly arranged and clearly structured user interface. The user will find the tree topology of the freely arranged project structure in the left section, whereas the middle section shows an overview and the right section a detailed version of all plans, documents, tasks, etc.
 
Depending on the rights the logged in user has, plans and documents are displayed and buttons for creating, copying, editing and deleting new plans, indices and documents are provided. The creation of a new plan or document implies the upload of files which are thus made available to the other parties involved.

The other project partners are informed about the existence of new plans and documents by means of freely configurable work-flow rules. These rules contain tasks – optionally combined with definite time allowances – which are displayed in the involved parties´ current reminders and which are also simultaneously sent via email to each and any involved party. In addition, work-flow rules allow the integration of plotting/reproduction companies, which are automatically provided with a detailed copying order.
 

A clipboard (comparable to a shopping cart in an online store) allows users to earmark plans and documents for further processing at a later point of time. During their WINPLAN++ online session, users store the required plans and documents in their individual clipboards, from which they can transfer (download) the corresponding files and/or control the definition of tasks or reproduction orders. It goes without saying that any and all actions are logged in such a manner that they can be fully tracked and that lists of any and all actions can be printed out.
 

If several files are summarized in one archive, these files can be transferred in one single session to the server, where they are then automatically unpacked. Subsequently, additional data can be written onto the individual files.
 
If there is a plan number classification for the project, it will store the relevant information on the platform. During the batch processing the plan numbers are analyzed and the resulting data are used to sort the plan into the project structure as well as to enter the data describing the plan.
 

A picture says more than thousand words. For this reason the photo gallery of WINPLAN++ online allows the direct display of photos showing the construction site or any defects and deficiencies, and of other digital photos. The photos are initially shown as thumbnails, but can be enlarged or downloaded, as required. Plans stored additionally as JPEG files are also shown in the photo gallery, thus enabling the user a preview without having to use a separate viewer.
 

WINPLAN++ online is licensed as a rental solution on our servers in the Frankfurt data processing center or as a server installation for the use on your own server. In this respect it clearly distinguishes itself as compared to many similar solutions.
 
WINPLAN++ online has many faces. The user interface of the Internet platform is created by means of templates. This allows users to adjust the presentation of their individual companies (colors, logos, etc.) in an optimum manner. Thanks to its modular programming, WINPLAN++ online can easily be translated into other languages.

The Internet platform WINPLAN++ online is fully compatible with the local plan management system WINPLAN++ classic. Optionally, you can work with both programs on the same data bank; data can be transferred online between both solutions. If both programs are used concurrently, a large number of features of WINPLAN++ classic are available, such as the extensive evaluation and import and export features as well as the archiving component. This allows the further use of the data created during an ongoing project after completion of the project.
